In this role, it will be critical for you to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The permanent opening for an Account Payable Clerk is located in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire area. You can advance your career with this exciting opportunity.

What you get to do every single day

• Accomplish full-cycle A/P

• Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

• Provide support to internal business partners

• Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

• Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned

• Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

• Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

• Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

  Requirements - Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
