Position Overview:

As the Senior Sourcing Lead in our Parts, Garments & Accessories (PG&A) division, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement strategies for iconic off-road brands like Polaris Ranger, Polaris Sportsman, and marine legends such as Bennington, Godfrey, and Hurricane. Your expertise will be key in selecting top-tier suppliers to enhance Polaris' reputation for quality, innovation, and cost efficiency. You will lead new product introductions and collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and purchasing teams to ensure seamless product launches. This role offers significant autonomy, visibility with executive leadership, and the satisfaction of seeing your projects come to life in our world-class UTVs and boats. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the largest supplier spend category for Polaris accessories, ensuring alignment with strategic sourcing goals.

  • Drive the RFI/RFQ/RFP processes to introduce novel products and breakthrough technologies.

  • Negotiate key contracts with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms for Polaris.

  • Present new program readiness at cross-functional gate reviews, including senior leadership.

  • Assess supplier capabilities to ensure they meet production volume expectations and strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with the Global Sourcing team to optimize shared supplier relationships.

  • Manage supplier engagements to ensure timely product delivery, enhancing market reputation.

  • Oversee the transition of products from development to full-scale production.

  • Champion the Polaris Development Process (PDP) to achieve cost-efficiency, quality, and delivery standards.

  • Spearhead the development, production, and launch of accessory products, driving industry innovation.

  • Analyze project costs and performance, implementing corrective actions and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Enhance the segmentation of the PG&A supplier base to reinforce competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing/procurement, with a strong track record of fostering robust supplier partnerships.

  • Proven negotiation skills, along with exceptional communication and analytical abilities.

  • Experience with supply contracts on both domestic and international fronts.

  • Solid understanding of engineering documentation, manufacturing controls, and technical specifications.

  • Expertise in commodity market analysis and developing strategic sourcing plans.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid office environment (3 days in office, 2 days of flexibility).

  • Ability to travel up to 20%, including regular visits to key suppliers and Polaris facilities.
