Monetization & Strategic Finance is responsible for the evaluation of revenue optimization initiatives across NBCUniversal’s Direct-to-Consumer business, including Peacock.  The team is responsible for developing financial modeling and strategic analyses that are used to inform Peacock’s business strategy and operating plan.  The team works cross-functionally to analyze and evaluate partnership, distribution, product, ad sales and marketing initiatives and their impact on subscriber and ad sales revenue.  The team regularly shares their work with Peacock leadership to drive key business decisions. 

We are seeking a Manager to be an integral member of the Strategic Finance team.  The role provides a unique opportunity to become a member of NBCUniversal’s expanding Direct-to-Consumer business and to work on critical workstreams that will drive Peacock’s growth and success.  This role will work cross-functionally to help analyze, build consensus, and recommend growth opportunities for the business. 

 Responsibilities included, but are not limited to

  • Develop, enhance and maintain financial models / impact analyses to support key business decisions for distribution, partnership, product, ad sales and/or marketing opportunities

  • Partner with operating leaders across Insights, Global Partnerships, Content Distribution, Marketing et al to build analyses that inform decision-making

  • Analyze research and data insights to assist with the development of financial models to evaluate initiatives

  • Develop presentation materials that effectively communicate model output/assumptions, business performance, and other key topics to leadership

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive competitive benchmarking tool that tracks key performance metrics across top streamers

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • [4+] years of relevant finance / strategy experience in media, direct-to-consumer subscription, management consulting, investment banking or similar fields

  • Proven quantitative and analytical skills, including significant financial modeling experience

  • Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
