Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in the professional services sector. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this role requires a hands-on approach to all aspects of HR management, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the payroll process ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines

• Administer employee benefits such as medical, insurance, and disability benefits

• Manage leave administration for employees to ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company

• Handle any employee relations issues that arise, providing solutions in line with company policy

• Maintain and update the HR Management System (HRMS) regularly to ensure accurate employee data

• Stay updated on HR compliance laws and regulations to ensure company adherence

• Employ the use of Paylocity for HR functions as required

• Handle any other HR related tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the department. Requirements • Proficiency in Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)

• Expertise in managing Benefit Functions

• Adequate knowledge in Compliance and Employee Relations

• Experience with Paylocity and Benefits Payroll

• Experience in handling Disability Benefits, Medical Benefits, and Insurance Benefits

• Proficiency in Benefits Administration

• Ability to maintain professional relationships and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
