First Horizon Bank Physical Security Investigator in Memphis, Tennessee

Location: On site in Memphis, TN or Little Rock, AR

Summary

The primary responsibility of the Corporate Security Consultant (Physical Security) is to investigate and document physical security cases from the assigned markets. Other responsibilities for the assigned markets include addressing physical security issues, assisting with branch opening/closing projects, conduct security training, conduct branch risk assessments, and respond to crisis events. Security Specialists will also participate in team projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Investigating both internal and external physical security incidents, workplace violence cases, and subpoena requests, and documenting and maintaining the requisite case files on those investigations.

  • Liaison with local, state, and federal law enforcement to file reports and follow up on all open investigations.

  • Conduct annual or bi-annual branch risk assessments.

  • Assisting Corporate Security Management with physical security projects.

  • Assisting with Disaster Recovery planning and implementation during crisis events.

  • Periodic branch reviews to ensure that security standards are being followed.

  • Provide periodic security training to branch and market personnel.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

  • Inventory and maintain electronic security equipment for storage and deployment.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

  1. Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 2-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS

  1. Microsoft Office suite

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc)
