This is a year round position and would be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week SUMMARY The International Tax internship provides the student with a range of unique experiences in corporate tax accounting and compliance. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS * International tax compliance with a focus on Canada and the Caribbean * VAT tax * Sales & Use tax * Income tax * Withholding tax * Payroll tax * Balance sheet account reconciliations and corresponding general ledger account entries * Assist with the completion of responses to inquiries, data requests, audits, and proposed adjustments received from international tax authorities * Work to ensure current paper file returns from foreign subsidiaries are scanned into the network drive and appropriately maintained for U.S. documentation purposes What is the Process to get Started? POSITION REQUIREMENTS Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong aptitude for paying attention to detail.
